Myriad Medical Holdings Ltd has raised the bar for the local medical services industry by becoming the first fully empowered and JSE listed medical device company in South Africa.

In a drive to underline the groups commitment to the fast growing medical device industry in SA – currently worth an estimated R6 billion rand per annum, excluding Sub-Sahara Africa - it has consolidated and streamlined six established businesses with an initial emphasis in supplying, supporting and training the Critical Care, Anesthesia and Surgical markets.

The group is spearheaded with an outstanding group of extensively experienced and successful business people. These industry leaders are in turn supported by an operational management team with vast experience in this industry having spent many years collectively steeped in the medical device industry.

The Myriad Medical Group offers a diverse range of medical devices in SA. These comprise hundreds of leading medical device products in both the consumable and equipment fields, which are supplied to private and government hospitals across the country. In supplying these premium products to the local healthcare industry the group is also supported by its own in-house training academy, technical and maintenance divisions and hospital turnkey operations.

After it’s successful shareholder support and high profile listing on the JSE in October 2006, Myriad Medical Holdings is currently adopting an aggressive two-prong growth strategy by acquiring earlier identified targeted companies and also bringing new overseas distribution agencies into the group.
